Product description
The 3 mL barrel provides room for liquid-transfer tasks, with visible volume markings and a smooth-action plunger. A Luer-lock connection secures the detachable needle to the barrel. The supplied 23G needle is 1 inch long and protected by a clear cap.
The matching product listing describes a polypropylene construction and individual packaging. MGMT recommends this format for laboratory reconstitution and measured liquid transfer when compatible with your laboratory’s validated procedure.
Why MGMT prefers Luer lock
The needle hub twists onto a threaded connection, helping keep it securely attached during laboratory liquid transfer. MGMT prefers this positive locking connection over a friction-fit Luer-slip connection for this task. Luer lock describes the connection, not the product’s sterility.
Why we selected 23G
MGMT selects 23G as a practical needle size for compatible laboratory vial-transfer protocols. A lower gauge number means a wider needle: 18G, for example, is larger in diameter than 23G. Studies of rubber vial stoppers have found more coring or loss of sealing with some larger-bore needles.
Coring means small rubber fragments are cut from the stopper and can enter the vial. Needle design, stopper material, and repeated punctures also affect this risk. A 23G needle does not eliminate coring, and evidence does not establish it as the best size for every stopper. Follow the vial manufacturer’s requirements and your laboratory’s validated procedure.

Use and handling
This is a laboratory accessory, not a medical injection syringe. Individual packaging does not establish verified sterility; do not assume this product is suitable for sterile pharmaceutical preparation. Follow the supplied labeling and your laboratory’s equipment requirements.
Use once, do not reuse needles, and discard used sharps in an approved sharps container according to your facility’s rules.
