Reconstitution calculator.
Your compound. Your mixture. Your measurement.
Set your mixture
Enter an example amount to calculate its volume.
ex. RETROD, 1ml - 100 unit, 20mg vial, 2ml BAC and 2mg sample = 20 units
Your measurement
RETATRUTIDE0.2 mL of solution per sample
2 mg ÷ 10 mg/mL = 0.2 mL
How to read this calculator +
Concentration = vial amount ÷ solution volume. Sample volume = sample amount ÷ concentration. U-100 scale units = volume in mL × 100; these are volume markings, not units of compound potency.
This example assumes the final solution volume equals the diluent volume entered, and that the compound dissolves completely. It does not establish solubility, compatibility, stability, or an administration dose.
Decimal measurements are mathematical results and may fall between markings. Full samples are rounded down; they do not account for handling losses.
SEMARO is temporarily unavailable and is omitted from the selector. BAC Water is the diluent, not a peptide.
Peptide reconstitution basics
Reconstitution means dissolving a lyophilized (freeze-dried) material in a suitable liquid to prepare a solution. There is no single diluent, volume, mixing method, or storage period that applies to every peptide.
- Check the compound’s instructions. Confirm its identity, vial amount, compatible diluent, required volume, and handling requirements before preparing a solution.
- Use the specified equipment and handling technique. Follow your laboratory’s procedure for clean equipment, vial access, measured transfer, and sharps disposal.
- Follow the documented mixing and inspection steps. Use the specified mixing method and check the solution against the protocol’s expected appearance. Unexpected particles, cloudiness, or discoloration need investigation.
- Record the preparation. Label the identity, lot, preparation date, and concentration, and follow the compound’s documented storage and stability limits.
Concentration = compound amount ÷ final solution volume. The calculator above assumes the entered diluent volume equals the final solution volume. Its results do not establish compatibility, sterility, stability, or a human dose.
